1 Celebration:

Community and Connection

In 2025, the tennis player Coco Gauff won the French Open. She has publicly said that months before the tournament, she repeatedly wrote a sentence in her notes: “I will win French Open 2025”. She would always write the statement as a daily reminder of what she was working towards during practice.

After winning the title, she shared the note publicly. Whilst some see it as manifestation and the universe’s ‘magic’, she says it was a way of keeping her attention, effort and belief aligned with her goal.

This is very interesting because psychologists often describe that when we practice mental rehearsal (clearly picturing and articulating a future outcome), our brain begins to organise behaviour around it. In other words, manifestation works best when it becomes a daily cue for action…

1 Question:

Introspection and Reflection

In theory, for you to achieve the life you really want, what would you need to start doing today? What sort of thoughts / actions would you need to be having or taking to make it work?

1 Action:

Presence and Gratitude

Ask yourself ‘what would the person I want to become do today?”. Then do one small version of that behaviour. Take one action that aligns with that version of yourself today. The more we align our actions today with the future we want, the more likely that future becomes. It also keeps us grounded in the present. When we see our goals as distant or unattainable, we subtly tell ourselves that the person we are today could never reach them. But when we connect the future to what we do right now, it starts to feel possible.
